Logging an act

Logging takes one tap and a few seconds. Two ways to do it, and both grow your ripple.

Quick act vs story act

Tap Log and choose how to share what you did:

  • Quick act — a fast, private tally toward your Circle. No photo, no caption. Worth +12 ripple.
  • Story act — a photo and a caption shared to the feed. Worth +25 ripple, and it can spread through the ripple mechanic when people are inspired.

Both count. Pick a story act when it's worth telling; pick a quick act when you just want it logged.

Pick a category

Tag each act with one of six categories — Community, Workplace, Environment, Random, Education, or Wellbeing — so your Circle can see where kindness is happening across campus and beyond.

Ripple score

Every act adds to your ripple score (+12 for a quick act, +25 for a story act). It's the number on your profile and the leaderboard's sort order. There's nothing to grind — your ripple simply follows what you do.

Daily streak

Log on consecutive days and your streak grows. Miss a day and it resets to one — no guilt, just a gentle reason to come back tomorrow. Three days running earns the On a Streak badge.
